Ms. Traci
DIRECTOR / TEACHER / OWNER
Ms. Traci has over 8 years of experience in early childhood education. She began her career as a tax accountant and enjoyed this vocation for over 10 years. When she had her two children, Emma (age 11) and Austin (age 10), she took some time off to be home with them. Emma started preschool at Green Mountain Village Preschool and Ms. Traci began to volunteer her time in the classroom. She fell in love with the kids and being in the classroom and quickly realized this was her path in life.
Ms. Traci went back to school to earn her Directors License and Early Childhood Teaching Certifications, while working at GMVP. Since then, her passion for teaching preschool has only grown and when the opportunity to take over this amazing school presented itself she fully embraced it as it combines her expert business background with her love for children and teaching. Outside of the preschool Ms. Traci enjoys running and skiing, camping with her family, and going to concerts!
Ms. Katie
LEAD TEACHER
Hi! I’m Ms. Katie. This is my first year teaching full time at Green Mountain Village Preschool and I’m so excited to be back in the preschool classroom after staying home with my kids for the past 7 years. Prior to becoming a stay at home mom, I taught preschool and kindergarten for almost 10 years in a variety of settings. I’ve also had a wonderful time facilitating the Lakewood Forest Playgroup at Bear Creek Greenbelt for the past 4 years. I love creating fun, engaging preschool environments and I especially love spending time reading with children!
My husband, Andy and I have two kids, Julia who is 7 and a second grader at Devinny elementary and Wade who is 4 and has been attending preschool at Green Mountain Village Preschool for the past 2 years. Julia also went to preschool at Green Mountain Village Preschool so I was thrilled to be given the opportunity to continue to teach and be a part of this community. Our family enjoys spending time outdoors riding bikes, camping, traveling and visiting National Parks.
Ms. Deana

Hello, my name is Ms. Deana. I’m a Colorado girl born and raised and enjoy the beauty this state offers. Teaching is my passion and I enjoy getting up every morning knowing I get to go to a job that I love and make a positive impact in the world! I enjoy reading, movies, Mexican food and spending time watching local sports. I have an amazing grown daughter who is a Speech Therapist and a husband who loves to cook and golf. I’ve been teaching for 20 years and I’m very excited to return to my first teaching home, Green Mountain Village Preschool.
Ms. Abbi
TEACHER ASSISTANT
Hi there preschool families! My name is Ms. Abbi and I am excited to be a teacher's assistant this year at Green Mountain Village Preschool.
A little bit about myself, I have a healthcare background as an x-ray tech but have been a stay at home momma for 12 years and was looking for a job that would be in sync with my 12 and 6 year old daughters' school schedules. They are both former students at Green Mountain Village Preschool and loved their time at the preschool. Ms. Traci and I met when our older daughters went to preschool together and our families are very close friends.
Our family enjoys camping, traveling, going to the zoo and museums. I enjoy exercising, live music, trying new restaurants and the Chicago Cubs!
Ms. Erin
TEACHER ASSISTANT
Hi! My name is Ms. Erin! I am a Colorado Native, specifically in the Green Mountain area. I have a wonderful family, including my husband, Garrett, of 19 years, our almost 6-year-old girl, Quinn, and our two-year-old boxer, Presli. We love to travel, watch sports, play sports, have game nights, be with family, go to concerts and help volunteer for Brown Bag Ministries and 365Health.
Quinn completed her two years at Green Mountain Village Preschool this past summer and will attend Kindergarten at Dennison Elementary this fall. She loved GMVP and will miss her teachers immensely. I was honored to be asked to teach at GMVP, and after having such a great experience as a mom of a student here, I look forward to helping create that same feeling for other families. I started my career eight years ago in Special Education and took time off when I had Quinn. This will be my second year at GMVP, and I am excited to be a crucial part of your children's first school experience.
